At about 7:30 AM on 11/18...

I was hit by a car while riding my motorcycle to work on the 101.

We were both driving about 50 miles an hour.

The impact knocked me and my motorcycle over and I skidded on the highway for some distance.  The good news is all of my gear did their respective jobs.  I walked away with only soreness, bruises, road rash, dizziness and thankfully no broken bones.  I don't know how the other drivers avoided running me over, but somehow they did. Thanks to them.  I was lucky.  My motorcycle, not so much.

So if you are reading this, do me a favor.  We have such a short time here, give someone you love a hug.
